Multi Colour Painted Mugs

These mugs are wheel thrown using black clay. Each mug is individually handpainted with underglazes. The mug is fired at cone 6 and the interior and handle are glazed with grey glaze. 
Select areas are glazed with transparent glaze on the exterior as is the lip of the mug. One of my favourite things about these mugs is the point where the grey meets the transparent on the inside, exposing the black clay galzed.  These mugs are 3" tall x 3.5" wide and hold approximately 11 fluid ounces. The mugs are food safe and dishwasher safe, BLACK CLAY IS NOT MICROWAVE SAFE (it gets very hot). If you microwave your hot drinks, this mug is not for you.
